Privacy

This page says what happens to your information when you read the Library of Eleanor Rigby. It is short because we collect almost nothing.

The short version. Nothing on this site asks for your name, your email or an account. Our search boxes search our shelves inside your own browser. We set no cookies, show no advertising and do not track you across other websites. Our host, Cloudflare, counts visits for us without cookies. To ask us anything about your information, write to nanuca@libraryofeleanorrigby.com.

Who we are

The Library of Eleanor Rigby is a book blog about YA fantasy and romantasy, written by Nanuca and, in our older posts, by Lana. We decide what happens to the information described here. Write to us about any of it at nanuca@libraryofeleanorrigby.com.

What we collect

When you search

The search boxes in the header, in the menu and on our search page are the only forms on the site. What you type is added to the address of our search page, and the matching posts are picked out by your own browser. We do not save your searches. Like every page address, the search address reaches our host when the page loads.

When you read

Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver pages and defend the site against attacks, it handles your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page you asked for, under its own retention terms.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people read. It works without cookies and without storing anything on your device, and it shows us visits in aggregate: pages, countries, devices and the sites that sent readers here. It does not tell us who you are.

Our typefaces come from Google Fonts, but Cloudflare delivers them from our own address, so your browser does not contact Google to fetch them.

When you write to us

Mail sent to our address passes through Cloudflare and lands in a Gmail inbox, so Google holds it. We keep it for as long as the conversation needs. Messages you send us on Instagram, TikTok or Etsy stay with those services, under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is why you were not asked to accept any.

Links to other sites

Our posts link to other sites, such as Goodreads and Amazon for the books we review. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Our links to Amazon carry no affiliate code. The Etsy shop we link to, LibraryofEleanor, is ours: it sells our hand-bound editions, and a purchase there is handled by Etsy.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share personal information.
  • We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • We do not ask anyone, of any age, to give us personal information on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice that means the emails you have sent us. Write to nanuca@libraryofeleanorrigby.com and we will answer within 30 days.

If you think we have mishandled your information, you can complain to the authority that supervises personal data protection in Georgia, where we are based. Since 2 March 2026 that is the State Audit Office of Georgia, which took over from the Personal Data Protection Service. Readers in the EU and the UK can also go to their own data protection authority.

Changes

If something here changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
